I met Brittni a year or so ago when she came into the store to show me this great topiary made using paper. I was so thrilled with this unique project I had her put together a class asap!! She has great ideas, especially when it comes to utilizing plants, flowers, etc. , so having her on the Design Team has been awesome! Stop by the store to see some of the fun projects she's done for KPS!

Not at all scrapbook related, but our fam has a minor dilemma:
Don't laugh: Cody and Amanda cannot agree on a name for the baby that is due in 5 weeks. So, here is your challenge: SEND ME GIRL NAMES!!! Their last name is Cory and they already have a girl named Madalyn Nicole. Note: these names have already been used in the fam: Sydney Michelle, Lillian (Lily) McKenzie, Macie Claire.
have you taken a moment today, to thank a vet? i called my dad, and i need to call my father-in-law, and so many others that i know who have been prepared to lay down their life for this country. and don't forget the families who have supported those soldiers! today would be a great day to do a LO about the price of freedom. we are not free simply because we are america. men and women, through the years, have stood in the gap for us, regardless of personal cost. thank God for the ones who have made it home and say a prayer for the ones still in the line of fire. join me in celebrating these awesome men and women!
ok girls, i need some help here. i am staring at some yummy scrap goodness and can't think of a single thing to do with it. share with us what kinds of projects and techniques that you would like to see. it would seriously help us out.
this past week had me stuck in a hospital with nothing to do. T had his soft palate re-constructed down at UCDavis, and, as many of you know, mommies don't sleep well when something is hurting their baby. even while he slept, my mind would not let me. so... i scrapped in my head. in my mind i played with the lovely new BG wassail that i picked up the day before @ KPS. i planned the ABC's of Christmas book i want to make. i thought about stamping on transparencies. you get the picture. so... do you scrap in your head? it's ok, you are not wierd. remember, we all suffer from the same addiction. so, do you? tell us about it.
p.s.- you know that heavenly flocked paper from doodlebug? it works in the cricut! ( you do have to use the heaviest setting and maybe go over it a couple of times, but it does work, i promise!) try it out. it makes for a luxurious addition to your holiday pages. i even added stickles to mine. look for it on my WONDER layout - coming soon!
I know you're out there, girlies! i see the hit map and know that we are getting visitors from all over the United States. Those of us that are 'locals' know what an awesome place KPS is, but others might not. I've been to the crops and met these wonderful gals. I'd like to get to know them better, so LET THE CHATTER BEGIN!
Question #1: list your top 3 favorite scrapbook manufacturers. ( remember: Karyn will be reading this, too. these might be some good hints for her....)
